PTO Membership

The Ecker Hill Middle School PTO is a 501(3)(c).  We are a volunteer run organization, dedicated to making Ecker Hill Middle School a great place for our kids to thrive. The PTO works to encourage interaction between parents, their children and the school.  The PTO works very closely with the school administration to help bridge the pathway between parents and educators.

What does the PTO do, exactly?

The PTO works within the school to help support the administration and staff to improve the educational experience for all students.  We also aim to help parents stay informed about school happenings and events.  The PTO organizes special events such as end of year parties, book fairs, fundraisers, teacher appreciation and spiritwear sales.  We also help to support school programs such as door decorating contests, student recognition programs, and Red Ribbon Week activities.

Who can join PTO?

Any parent or guardian of a current student of Ecker Hill Middle School, as well as all current faculty and staff.  Research makes clear that increasing parent involvement is a benefit to students.

How do I become a member?

To join the EHMS PTO, simply add the Membership Dues item to your cart and complete the checkout process!  

Do I have to pay for each child?

No, your dues cover all children in your immediate household.

What are the benefits of membership?

First, it gives you a voice!  Your membership entitles you to vote at all meetings on PTO business. You may desire to volunteer to help with our many events throughout the year. Volunteering is encouraged but not required.  Supporting the PTO by paying your dues helps us fund programs that enhance your child’s learning experience.
